Maggie weighed in at 14lbs 1 oz on Tuesday, July 20th. Still a tiny little thing but big and strong in so many ways!

It Has Been Too Long

So, as you can see, it's been a busy couple of months since my last post. Maggie Rose is swimming and eating and hiking and going on trips to the butterfly pavilion. :) It's been a great summer so far! We are looking forward to traveling to New Hampshire in a few weeks to visit my family. The Meesigs and Auntie Sammy will finally get to meet Maggie Rose! We are also squeezing in Maggie's baptisim while we are out there.
In June, we enjoyed a great visit from my sister's family, the Ouellettes and from my good friend Zett. Since then, we've been squeezing in trips to the pool, hikes, BBQs and Maggie even took her first ride in a golf cart last weekend at the Hiwan Invitational.
We celebrated Dave's birthday with Grandma and Grandpa G last night and Maggie did great sitting in the highchair and fully participating in the dining experience. We also noticed last night that Maggie's first tooth has broke through! it was an exciting celebration for Dave and Maggie both.
Still not crawling but Maggie is still finding ways to move around as much as possible via rolling and shoulder skooching. It won't be long until the safety gates need to be installed and Dave and I need to rearrage the whole house to protect Maggie and our things.
That's the latest! I hope to post again soon!

Long time, no posts...  We're going to try to keep this a bit more up to date.  Maggie has been growing and really has been developing her personality!  She is such a blast, and loves to give big toothy grins now.  Though, it is tough to capture them on a camera, it seems.  At any rate, some more recent photos will be up here soon.

Take care!

Updated size info

Maggie had her "two week" appointment yesterday, and we found that she is now 7 pounds, 7 ounces and is 19 3/4 inches.  So she has gained a full pound from her birth weight and has grown a full quarter inch.
These are the pictures from the hospital photographer that we just got today.  We'll get some more recent pictures up soon!
